Earthly Delights

November 17, 2014 by Sheila

Earthly Delights
Back in June 2012 I attended Earthly Delights in Pottersville, NJ. Wow, what a place. This private home is opened up every other year for a tour of the gardens, lectures by the horticultural intelligentsia, and upscale vendors selling gorgeous plants and antiques. Jerry Fritz, of Linden Hill Gardens, told me about this and I’d had it marked on my calender. The owners have quite a hobby  collecting eclectic garden-style antiques from around the world  and their finds are scattered throughout the house and gardens. Just wanted to share these photographs because it’s the dreariest of November rainy days outside today. So let’s mark our calenders for June 2015, because this only comes around every two years. I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking. PS It’s impossible to take a bad picture on this property!

So glad that you stopped by! Please join me in my garden and kitchen on our tiny, little farm in gorgeous Bucks County, PA. As the seasons progress, we’ll gather and prepare an abundance of vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers, visit markets, and do a little foraging and preserving. -Sheila
